Jessica International Presentation of Performers

This is my daughter Jessica's dream. This past spring Jessica auditioned for John Robert Powers school of performing arts. She was 1 of the 14 children selected out of the 350 who auditioned to attend their school in Rockville, MD. After several months of study she then auditioned and was selected as one of the 30 children to represent the metropolitan DC area at the International Presentation of Performers (iPOP!) in Los Angeles, CA , January 2008.
Jessica is 11 years old and a 6th grade honor student at Johnson Williams Middle School where she maintains an A/B average. She loves to read and is devoted to her studies but finds time for other activities. Jessica has been elected into the Who's Who Registry of Academic Excellence. She is a community volunteer and was an SGA class representative.
She participates in band, chorus, drama and was in the 2007 fall talent show where she was the grand finale act. Her special awards include the National Physical Fitness Award, President's Educational Award, Science Fair Award and Student of the Quarter. Jessica was a member of the Girl Scouts and Yearbook Staff. In her spare time Jessica enjoys horse riding and showing. She took Reserved Grand Champion in the Eastern Panhandle Horse Show, fall of 2007. Jess works for a family fun enterprise, Pony To Go, on weekends. She runs the petting zoo teaching children about the breeds of animals and how to care for them.
This summer, Jessica was selected to join the JRP modeling team. She participated in the Dulles Town Center fashion show representing Lord and Taylor.
As parents we want to support her dreams but mostly hope that Jess develops self esteem and a belief in herself.
We do need support and donations to help her take steps to reach her dream.
Sponsors who contribute $100 or more before 1 january will be listed in iPOP!'s Digital Program Book which is presented to over 500 VIP's attending iPOP! as well as over a total of 2500 individual attendees
