Alpha Sigma Phi 5th annual Dump for dollars - University of Maryland event - What an experience! ...It is a charity event, and the way it works is there is an enormous grid on the field (probably about 60*50 square feet), and the grid is divided into individual squares, bought by people supporting the charity. We then have the grid surrounded by a fence, or some sort of wiring and a cow grazes on the field while people watch. We then wait until the cow defecates, and the owner of the square wins a cash prize of $1000.

Hi Jennifer. "I just wanted to let you know, once again, how much we love Pixie and "Sparky", the little paint we bought from you in February. Pixie is the sweetest pony ever. She loves children and does every thing we ask of her. Her winter coat has finally shed out and she is gorgeous!
We call the little paint our "vampire" pony. He likes biting everyone else in the field, but they don't seem to mind too much. He seems to be unaware of his midget stature! They have brought us so much joy and are being used for pony preschool lessons on the weekends. Otherwise, they lead a really pampered life. Thanks so much for bringing them into our family.

"Hi, I just wanted to thank you for having Ree run our party on the 26th of May. She was an absolute delight to work with and both her and her son were great with the kids. Needless to say, everyone had a wonderful time. My brother-in-law (whose son we were throwing the party for... and knew nothing about the surprise we had planned for them) had about as fun, if not more fun, than Sam. It was so funny, when the trailer pulled up, my brother-in-law just looked at me and all he could say was "what have you done?".
My two started jumping up and down SCREAMING "the pony's are here, the pony's are here!"
It was all I could do to keep them in the house until they were all set up!
Again, everyone had a wonderful time! And what amazed me the most, was how much stress it took off of me.
I really didn't have to plan anything for the kids to do... the entertainment was right there eating my lawn.
It was great! Everyone was asking for your number, so hopefully, you'll get a few referrals from our party.
I will be talking to you in August. We're going to have you all come out again in October for the twins 4th birthday... pray for good weather that first weekend in Oct! Take care and we'll talk to you soon."

More people came than I expected so the whole day seemed a little chaotic to me, but I believe the kids really enjoyed themselves. I know my nephew had a ball with the pony and the animals! The petting zoo was wonderful and the rooster even showed off his voice for us. I hope they all enjoyed being around the kids! Thank goodness the weather cleared and it turned out to be a beautiful day! I was so stressed over that most of the week. Hello Mayfest Parade Volunteers,
Thank you all for marching yesterday with the Shenandoah County Democrats in the 2008 Strasburg Mayfest Parade. We had a great time, did a lot of good for our Democratic Party, and for our Congressional Candidate Sam Rasoul.
A special thanks to Jack Schillinger for entering us in the parade, and to Zelda Zadnick and Joe Schad for the final arrangements.A very special thanks to Sam and Layaly Rasoul for coming to Strasburg to march with us.
As always, a big thank you to Peek-a-Boo and Pony To Go for making us something special, and adding a special treat for the kids along the way. We had a total of 19 people marching. Three pictures taken by Joe Schad are attached. It was a really nice touch for some of you to bring your children along. It was clear from the smiles and applause from the parade watchers that we accomplished our objective of demonstrating that it's okay to be a Democrat in Shenandoah County.

1/June/08 Hi Everyone, I just wanted to take time to thank everyone for all their hard work over the last several months helping to plan and put forth a great day yesterday:) I think everyone enjoyed the day's activities despite the intermittent rain. Thank you also to Incredible Inflatable's-- Doug and his crew did a great job. Thanks to Pony to Go as well and for taking an extra effort to move when we needed you to do so. That was great. I think everyone enjoyed Mr. B's Barbecue as well. Thanks also to Stephan for providing the Deejay service and to Nerangis Enterprises for Ronald McDonald and for the bike---we earned $58.75. I hope I haven't left anyone out, but in any case, all your efforts helped make the Family Day successful:) All of these businesses donated to the Boys and Girls club and we are very appreciative. Detective Griff did a great job guiding the riders and the Sherriff's department really made the day with those free helmets for the participants! Great teamwork, everyone! You did a magnificent service to the Boys & Girls club and to the Winchester
community. Words cannot express my appreciation to each and every one of you. I have heard nothing but positive comments since Sunday.
Judy, you are the star. We could not have done this without you. Your organization and enthusiasm made this happen.
Tyson, Darlene, Jan, Maggie, Vivian, Terry, Bill, Jose, Charlie. Griff and Alli, I will always be indebted to you for jumping into a project and, not only making it happen, but creating something that is very special and will become an important part of this community.
I promise you that I am ready and willing to help you with your projects. Justcall and I'm there for you. We will be getting together for a "debriefing" in the next week or two. If you are unable to attend, please send along you thoughts and suggestions that could help us if we do it next year.
I think that next year is almost a given. Again, I thank you. It IS a great pleasure to work with you.

I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for my daughter's birthday party. Everyone had a blast and I think we're now going to have to do this every year! Even our 20 month old went crazy for the pony!
Unfortunately, I was very sick during the party, so I never got to really thank you all or participate, but you all did such a fantastic job. It went off without a hitch and I could just sit back and watch. You all were so respectful of our property - people had parked up close to our house, which didn't leave room for the trailer, so you all walked the pony up our driveway, which is a hike, even though you all could have just driven on the property and parked on the grass. We have 18 acres, so I'm not worried about a green lawn!

I just wanted to tell you what a GREAT time my family and I had at the picnic. Even with the rain, we had a blast! Our painted pumpkins are proudly on display and the petting zoo was such a big hit! I think my girls rode those ponies 20 - 30 times each! And all of us enjoyed the food, I especially liked the horse shoe cookies. Gabby was, of course, taking all the credit for bringing us there--it being her "sport" and was proud to be a part of it. I cannot wait to see the pictures!

I wanted to thank you for making Emma's birthday party so special. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the animals, even the adults. All of the animals were well behaved and so gentle, which made it a great experience for the kids who were a little afraid at first. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and they were great with the kids as well. It turned out to be a perfect day all around.

Hello, I just wanted to say thanks again for saving my little girls pony part dreams!! The young man who brought Sugar to our home did an excellent job, my daughter was the first to ride and really it looked like she was gonna get sick, she was so scared, that young man reassured her and then just went, well a few steps into the ride my little girl was on top of the world , she loved it!! She kept riding all evening! He worked with me so well on the photo ops! ( I do photography so I had to get a great pic!!) I attached one to show you. I will reccomend your services to anyone and everyone, and Maiven will tell everyone about Sugar, she says its her pony but she had to go to her other home now!! Thank you, thank you!! 17 June 2010I cannot thank you enough for what a wonderful service you provide. Your team was incredibly professional and organized. The whole party went so smoothly due to how well they set up, worked with the children and managed the animals. From start to finish they were wonderful, from the phone call on their way to let me know their arrival time to their clean up and departure. After they left you would have never guessed our lawn just had 20 animals in it.
The concept you have is very special and the animals you sent were perfect. During set up our daughter had her face pressed against the window announcing the arrival of each animal with such excited enthusiasm. She couldn’t believe it when the lama came out. Also when we went outside the staff let her play with the baby goat which she loved and then she continued to bond with him throughout the day. The pony rides were a great activity for the kids and the petting zoo kept them happily occupied throughout the whole party.
Thank you again. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything went on Sunday and our daughter will have special memories of her 5th birthday forever.

Derricka Lee loved her birthday party and you guys stay in mind every time I look at that huge stuffed pony you all gave her as a birthday gift. What a surprise!!!!! It's funny because I don't know who likes it better, her or the dog! Once again ALL the staff was SUPERB and genuinely worked so well with the children!!! Parents are still commenting on how wonderful the party was and many still ask me for your information. Alot of the parents told me they had just as much fun as the children! My children, mother & I had such a wonderful day with you all! Please do repeat our thanks to all the staff & friends who came out to meet us. It was such a joyful time. You are fabulous to follow-up (& so quickly!) with all those animal names. As we homeschool, I can definitely run a few lessons off of the information you shared with us both in real life and in these emails. That kind of thorough "customer service" is SO rare these days--it MUST be noted as deeply appreciated.
We'd love to come back out to visit you all again some time. We enjoyed a luscious dinner in Berryville followed by a couple of hours on a playground my kids favor (near several baseball fields...), and didn't get home till well past the children's bedtimes.
