Once in a blue moon a breath of fresh air blows into town as did when Rabbi Herzfeld came to Ohev Shalom in NW DC injecting Jewish ruach with Haman leading Mordechai atop a horse called Shiloh (provided by Pony To Go)

Alpha Sigma Phi 5th annual Dump for dollars -  University of Maryland event -  What an experience!  ...It is a charity event, and the way it works is there is an enormous grid on the field (probably about 60*50 square feet), and the grid is divided into individual squares, bought by people supporting the charity. We then have the grid surrounded by a fence, or some sort of wiring and a cow grazes on the field while people watch.  We then wait until the cow defecates, and the owner of the square wins a cash prize of $1000.

Hi Jennifer.  "I just wanted to let you know, once again, how much we love Pixie and "Sparky", the little paint we bought from you in February.  Pixie is the sweetest pony ever.  She loves children and does every thing we ask of her.  Her winter coat has finally shed out and she is gorgeous!

We call the little paint our "vampire" pony.  He likes biting everyone else in the field, but they don't seem to mind too much.  He seems to be unaware of his midget stature!  They have brought us so much joy and are being used for pony preschool lessons on the weekends.  Otherwise, they lead a really pampered life.

"Hi,  I just wanted to thank you for having Ree run our party on the 26th of May.  She was an  absolute delight to work with and both her and her son were great 

with the kids.  Needless to say, everyone had a wonderful time.  My 

brother-in-law (whose son we were throwing the party for... and knew 

nothing about the surprise we had planned for them) had about as fun, 

if not more fun, than Sam.  It was so funny, when the trailer pulled 

up, my brother-in-law just looked at me and all he could say was 

"what have you done?".  My two started jumping up and down SCREAMING 

"the pony's are here, the pony's are here!"  It was all I could do to 

keep them in the house until they were all set up!  Again, everyone 

had a wonderful time!  And what amazed me the most, was how much 

stress it took off of me.  I really didn't have to plan anything for 

the kids to do... the entertainment was right there eating my lawn.  

It was great!

Everyone was asking for your number, so hopefully, you'll get a few 

referrals from our party.  I will be talking to you in August.  We're 

going to have you all come out again in October for the twins 4th 

birthday... pray for good weather that first weekend in Oct!

"Hi!   I just wanted to send a note to let you know how much my sons enjoyed their rides at the Bluemont Fair.  The rides were a big-deal treat, but the best part of the experience was the way that the people who led the kids around chatted with the children in such a friendly way.   My youngest son, who is almost three, was totally enraptured by the ponies and people.  He now wants to be a “horsey man” when he grows up…he wants to take care of ponies and help guide them around when they give rides to kids.   He was so in love with the experience that we had to check out horse books at the library.   (By the way, after seeing pictures of different horses, he insists that he rode a Clydesdale, not a pony!)"
